Kenya Power has announced planned power interruptions across nine counties on Wednesday to facilitate essential system maintenance. The outages will occur at various times between 9 AM and 5 PM.
Counties Affected:
- Nairobi: Areas include parts of Ngong Road, China Centre, Coptic Hospital, Baptist Church, and more, including Buruburu Phase 5 and Dandora.
- Makueni: Affected areas encompass Huduma Centre, Malivani Prisons, and several markets including Mumbuni and Kitikyumu.
- Bomet: Outages will impact Meja, Bomet Police Station, and several villages including Kipkuror and Solyot.
- Murang’a: Affected locations include Ithanga Junction and various markets.
- Kiambu: Areas such as Makongeni, St. Paul Secondary, and several community centers will experience interruptions.
- Kisumu: Key locations include Agakhan Hospital and several residential areas.
- Nyamira: Affected areas include Matunwa T/Fact and Omwoyo.
- Mombasa: Interruptions will occur near Bonje Shell and Mazeras Water.
- Kilifi: Areas such as Sea Horse and part of Pwani University will be affected.
Residents are advised to plan accordingly and prepare for the temporary outages.
