Kenya Power has listed areas in seven counties set to experience power interruptions on Tuesday between 8 am and 5 pm. The affected counties are Bomet, Narok, Nandi, Kakamega, Migori, Kirinyaga, and Kiambu.
Narok and Bomet
Power outages will occur from 8 am to 4:30 pm in:
- Sachora Market, Youth Farmers, Longisa Hospital, Longisa Market, Mulot Market, Kembu Market, Kapkimworwa Quarry, Olngoswet, Chemaner, Kimuchul, Greenfield T/Fact, Kisyet T/Fact, Kutete Market, Tegat Market, Ngito, Kipturgut Market, Olmenani, and Laluk.
Nandi
Scheduled outages from 9 am to 5 pm will affect:
- Kabongwa, Chepterit, Tulon, Kilibwon, Factory, and surrounding areas.
Kakamega
Power cuts from 8 am to 5 pm will impact:
- Amalemba, Shitaho, Muranda, Shavirotsi, Shinyalu, Kwirenyi, and Itenyi.
Migori
Outages from 9 am to 4 pm will affect:
- Gogo, Osiri Matanda, Macalda, Osiri Gold Mine, Nyakwere, Lwanda, Sori, Muhurubay, Othoch Rakwom, Sibuoche, Namba Kondelo, Bande, Ongeri, and Macalda Polytechnic.
Kirinyaga
Power interruptions will occur in two time slots:
- 9 am to 5 pm: Kiarukungu, Kiorugari, HCDA, KHE, Kimbimbi Market and Hospital, Nguraini, Karoti Girls School, Karlo, Kimbimbi, Nineve, Mathangauta, Matandara, Mahigaini, Kiriko, Kirogo, Nyamindi, Nguchui, Tebere Secondary School, Bahati, and Kamuchege Villages.
- 8:30 am to 4:30 pm: Karurumo, Kasafari, Karerema, Kanyuambora, Ishiara Market, Kamumu, Ngunyumu, Soko, and Gitii.
Kiambu
Power outages scheduled from 9 am to 5 pm will affect:
- Slaughter Road, Ruaka Police, Cyton, Gertrude, Equity Bank, Joy Land, Catholic Church, Quick Mart Supermarket, Clean Shelf Supermarket, and Total Petrol Station.
Kenya Power urges affected customers to plan accordingly during the interruptions.
