The Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC) has announced that candidates who sat for various examinations in 2022 and 2023 can now collect their certificates from their respective institutions.
KNEC confirmed that certificates for the 2022 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE), as well as those for the 2022 and 2023 Diploma in Teacher Education (DTE), Diploma in Special Needs Education (DSNE), and Early Childhood Development Education (ECDE), are ready for collection.
In addition, certificates for the Primary Teacher Examination (PTE), Upgrade Programme for the Diploma in Primary Teacher Education (UDPTE), and Upgrade Programme for the Diploma in Early Childhood Teacher Education (UDECTE) have also been dispatched.
The examination body stated that the certificates have been sent to the schools where the candidates took their exams. “If you have been eagerly awaiting your well-deserved certificate, it has arrived at your institution and is ready for pick-up,” KNEC announced on X.
The council congratulated all candidates and encouraged them to collect their certificates promptly.
In a previous communication, KNEC advised individuals with queries to submit them online via the Query Management Information System (QMIS). Queries must be submitted within 30 days of the certificate release and will incur a fee of Sh 5,000, payable through a Paybill number generated by QMIS upon verification of the application.
