Narc Kenya leader Martha Karua has dismissed President William Ruto’s Cabinet reshuffle as a mere diversionary tactic. Speaking on Tuesday, Karua criticized the changes as insufficient and characterized the Cabinet vetting process as a “circus.”
Karua argued that the reshuffle does not address the core issues facing Kenya and accused the Ruto administration of being unresponsive to public demands.
“The Cabinet nominations are just a distraction. Ruto heard the call for a fresh start, but instead, we get more of the same with a vetting process that resembles a circus,” Karua said on Citizen TV. “This regime is out of touch with the needs of Kenyans, especially the younger generation.”
Despite speculation on social media about her potential appointment as Attorney General, Karua, who previously served as Justice Minister under President Mwai Kibaki and is a lawyer, has expressed no interest in the position.
Karua remains a staunch critic of President Ruto’s administration and continues to advocate for significant changes in the government.
