The Group for the Support of Islam and Muslims (GSIM or JNIM), designated as a terrorist organization by Russia, has claimed responsibility for the kidnapping of two Russian nationals, according to AFP.
The radical group released a video featuring two men who identified themselves as Russians and stated they were working in Mbanga when they were seized by JNIM. The video did not include a date, and the men did not specify when they were abducted.
