Several fatalities are feared following a head-on collision between a matatu shuttle and a truck on the Eldoret-Kitale road on Friday morning.
The crash occurred near Soy market on a narrow section of the road, leaving passengers trapped in the wreckage of the matatu. Police are at the scene, and some injured individuals have been rushed to nearby hospitals.
The matatu was traveling towards Eldoret, while the truck was headed to Kitale. Investigations are underway to determine the cause of the accident.
