A farmer in Bungoma’s Lwakhakha area is seeking assistance to recover eight cows allegedly stolen by thieves.
The 61-year-old, identified by police as Jialo Masinde, discovered that his cattle—comprising three bulls, three cows, and two calves—valued at Sh240,000, were missing when he woke up.
Officers from the Lwakhakha Police Station investigated the scene and confirmed that the animals had been tied up in his yard and taken by unknown individuals during the night. The thieves reportedly drove the cattle to an undisclosed location. Efforts are ongoing to locate the stolen animals, and police will provide further updates.
