A 30-year-old woman, Mlongo Mriphe Munga, was fatally stabbed by her ex-husband, Maita Mwaka, in Kilimagodo, Kwale County, on Sunday night. The incident occurred around 7:45 PM when Mwaka invaded her home and attacked her with a knife, causing multiple injuries. He fled the scene afterward. The motive for the attack is believed to be a love triangle. Police have launched a manhunt for Mwaka and are investigating the case. The body has been sent for a postmortem. Local authorities urge community cooperation in providing information. This incident follows another case in February where two co-wives were killed in a family dispute. The OCPD warned against vigilantism and emphasized peaceful conflict resolution.
