The Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) will seize properties in Woodley Estate, Nairobi, after the Court of Appeal ruled that over 100 residential houses were fraudulently acquired. The court upheld an earlier decision from the Environment and Land Court, declaring the property titles invalid.
This landmark ruling found the acquisition process unlawful, supporting EACC’s case against developer Paul Moses Ng’ethe and others. The ruling mandates that the Land Registrar cancels all related fraudulent entries, finalizing all pending cases regarding the estate’s illegally acquired properties.
