Detectives in Namanga have arrested four suspects linked to the February 10, 2025, home invasion of an elderly Korean couple in Elmarba, Kajiado County. The attackers, part of a six-man gang, subjected the couple to a harrowing ordeal before stealing valuables, including phones, laptops, jewelry, and over Sh260,000 via mobile transfers.
The suspects were tracked down and arrested nearly 100 kilometers away in Mlolongo and Mukuru Kwa Reuben. A forensic investigation led to their capture, with stolen items and weapons recovered. The victims positively identified them as part of the gang.
The suspects were arraigned on February 17 as police continue searching for the remaining perpetrators. Authorities believe the attack was premeditated, and the Korean embassy in Nairobi has been informed as investigations proceed.
