The Nigerian billionaire, known for his ventures in cement, sugar, and oil, leads the rankings, followed by South Africa’s Johann Rupert at $14 billion and Nicky Oppenheimer at $10.4 billion.
Egypt has four representatives, including Nassef Sawiris ($9.6 billion) and Mohamed Mansour ($3.4 billion), while Nigeria’s Mike Adenuga and Abdul Samad Rabiu also feature prominently.
The list showcases Africa’s economic diversity, spanning industries like mining, retail, telecommunications, and manufacturing. Dangote’s continued reign highlights the strength of the continent’s industrial sector.
