China has outlined a comprehensive five-point plan aimed at enhancing bilateral relations with Kenya and advancing shared modernization goals. Speaking at the Hong Ting Forum in Nairobi, Chinese Ambassador Guo Haiyan emphasized cooperation in governance, economic development, cultural exchange, and global advocacy.
The initiatives focus on deepening political collaboration, expanding economic ties in traditional and emerging sectors such as AI and green energy, and fostering intellectual and cultural exchange through STEM education and vocational training. Additionally, China reaffirmed its commitment to opposing unilateralism and pledged continued support for global governance reforms through platforms like the WTO and BRICS. The envoy urged Kenya to work closely with Beijing in promoting regional stability and fairer international policies.
