Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja has condoled with the family and constituents of Kariobangi North following the sudden death of MCA Joel Munuve. Speaking on Citizen TV, Sakaja urged against politicising the incident and emphasized the need to await the autopsy scheduled for Thursday.
He acknowledged Munuve’s dedication, noting that despite political differences, they often collaborated. Sakaja assured county support to Munuve’s family and called for thorough investigations to clarify the cause of death.
Nairobi County Assembly Speaker Kennedy Ngondi confirmed Munuve developed chest pains en route to work and was rushed to hospital, where he was pronounced dead. He described the late MCA as a devoted leader deeply committed to serving his people.
