President William Ruto met with UN Deputy Secretary-General Amina J. Mohammed at State House, Mombasa, on Wednesday.
Their discussions focused on regional and global peace, with Ruto reaffirming Kenya’s strong partnership with the UN in promoting security and sustainable development.
Key topics included progress in the EAC-SADC peace process in Eastern DRC, the ongoing conflict in Sudan, and the security crisis in Haiti. Ruto also appreciated the UN’s support for Kenya’s leadership in the Multinational Security Support (MSS) Mission.
