The National Assembly has announced the schedule for the vetting of President William Ruto’s Cabinet nominees.
According to the timetable, the vetting process will occur over four days, from Thursday, August 1, 2024, to Sunday, August 4, 2024, with at least five nominees being reviewed each day.
This announcement follows a communication from President William Ruto to National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetang’ula, presenting an additional list of 10 nominees for Cabinet Secretary positions.
The vetting sessions will be held at the Mini-Chamber, County Hall, Parliament Buildings, starting at 8 a.m. each day. The process will be conducted by the National Assembly’s Committee on Appointments, chaired by the Speaker.
